Altenova is a new European leader in active fire protection (in the field of sprinkler and foam extinguishing systems), it was formed after the merger between two well-established players: Altebra, the Benelux and Scandinavia market leader, and Pyronova, a recognised expert with operations across Central and Eastern Europe. Together, the group brings over 725 fire safety specialists and decades of expertise to clients across 14+ locations in Europe.
The combination of both leading companies is supported by Altebra's partner Sofindev, who has been supporting it in its growth strategy since December 2020, when Sofindev became the majority shareholder, alongside Altebra's founder, Karel De Cock.
