Thierry François
- Thierry launched Akiles in 2019.
- He has 25 years experience in corporate finance, wealth management and private equity. He qualified as a ‘commercial engineer’ at the Solvay Business School (ULB), is CFA charterholder and Guberna Certified Director. He has built extensive experience working for financial institutions (BNP Paribas Fortis and ING) and families (Korys, the family office of the family Colruyt, and Econopolis).

- Kurt launched Akiles in 2019.
- He obtained a Master’s degree as Commercial Engineering at Solvay, VUB.
- After a first experience in co-managing a spin-off in underwater technology, he specialised in financial management through a Master of Finance at Vlerick.
- At investment bank Degroof Petercam, he gained 13 years of proficiency in corporate finance with broad experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A as well as valuations, private placements of equity and bonds, IPO’s and delistings.
- At Triple Living, Kurt directed all strategic corporate finance activities during 2 years, leading to the acquisition and integration of Land Invest - a real estate developments portfolio of 400,000m²-, the €47m issue of a first bond private placement and set-up of a €30m FIIS real estate fund structure.
